Text messed up after downloading pdf from gmail

I ran into variants of the download trouble several times. What finally resolved it was to delete the half-cooked “Install macOS Sierra” file from Launchpad (which had a big question mark on it), then rebooting. 8 Jan 2010 To be clear, if I created in Thunderbird, Gmail or Iclient and received on any of Have you opened the PDFs (good and not-good) in a text editor? If you ZIP up the PDFs and send them via MS-based applications, are THEY corrupted as well? We already know that the sent PDF is corrupt after reception.
